VRTrauma Website

“We were very delighted with the website that Ameliate delivered. The work was completed quickly and according to our requirements, allowing us to keep with our release schedule for our product. Being closely involved in the design and development process also helped us stay up-to-date and offer input when necessary. Recommended.”

CEO, VRTrauma

We built a homepage for our Helsinki XR Center fellows, VR Trauma. VR Trauma was looking to create a website for their company and their upcoming VR product focusing on medical education. Since at Ameliate we were quite well-versed in co-designing and developing websites rapidly, we got in business together. As an added benefit, we were also in the specific sub-field of medical VR on our product side of the company and had insights into how to make the site sleek but informative.

After we agreed on the requirements and the approximate timeline, we got to work. VR Trauma already had an initial idea of what they wanted and in the spirit of participatory design, we started building towards that vision. Throughout the course of the project we kept in frequent contact on the progress and decision-making about design choices. Some of the co-designed topics included options for use of brand colours, taxonomy of the sub-pages, and the use of video.

We used our existing knowledge and best practices from our previous projects as well as our own website development process, which enabled us to move forward in a swift and lean manner. Utilising our knowledge of implementing Agile into software projects helped us with continuous delivery. In the end, we published a quality website, surpassing expectations.
